Homemade Ice Cream Essentials.
A few years ago, Emerson got a Ninja Creami for Christmas and it has been SO fun for summer nights! Of course, you can make ice creams, gelatos, sorbets and SO much more. But you can also use it to make your own blizzards- one of our favorite ways to use it! All you do is start with vanilla ice cream and add in ALL the toppings you want. My favorite combo is Oreos, Jimmy Sprinkles and mini marshmallows (they get so chewy and yummy!) and Emerson's favorite is Heath, Snickers

Lemon Crinkle Cookies.
There’s something so lovely about a simple lemon dessert in the spring — bright and cheerful, yet still soft and comforting. These four-ingredient lemon cookies are the kind of treat you can stir together on a quiet afternoon, with sunlight pouring through the kitchen window and a candle flickering nearby. They bake up tender with the sweetest citrusy touch, like a little bite of sunshine with your coffee or tea. Effortless, cozy, and just the thing to welcome the season.

Spring Monster Cookies.
Monster Cookies have been a staple in our household since Emerson & I started dating in 2015. They are his FAVORITE cookie, or at least one of them (the man loves his cookies). I usually do some variation of them for each holiday or season changing the color of the M & M's. And my recipe was classic. But I came across a flourless version and played with it until it was perfect and I have to say, this is the best monster cookie we have ever made! They are chewy and delicious,

A Chocolate-y Christmas Brunch.
There are a handful of recipes that I turn to again and again for special occasions — the ones that feel effortless, impressive, and comforting all at once — and this Chocolate Croissant Bake is at the top of that list. It’s the kind of dish that fills your kitchen with the warm, buttery smell of a bakery, but requires almost no work from you first thing in the morning. Truly a dream. While I make this bake all year long for birthdays, brunches, and family gatherings, it’s es

Oh What Fudge.
There’s something about the holiday season that just calls for fudge. Maybe it’s the cozy nights by the tree, the smell of peppermint in the air, or the simple joy of stirring something sweet on the stove — but for me, making fudge has always been one of my favorite Christmas traditions. Over the years, I’ve tested and tweaked my recipe to perfection, creating a foolproof base that’s rich, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent. Fudge also happens to be one of those

A Christmas Gallery Wall.
Last year, when I posted my gallery wall, I had no idea it would go viral! It has been something I look forward to pulling out every year & is always the first decoration up in my house each Christmas! And to see how many people have been inspired to create their own has been such a huge source of joy! For my gallery wall, I chose all black & white photos, had them printed and put them in black frames with white mats. I bought matted frames that fit 8 x 10 photos. And once t

Grandma's Strawberry Jam.
Growing up, every Spring was marked by heading to grandma’s for a weekend full of jam making. The weekend started Friday night heading out to a near by farm to pick the strawberries. Saturday morning we would start and continue on through Sunday afternoon, making dozens of jars to last through the year! Only stopping to ride our bikes to Pelican (a local diner) for lunch! The fresh breeze blowing through the kitchen with the scent of sweet strawberries wafting in the air. As
